If you are a vital believer and not just a name, you will accept the following:
That God is always Love.
That man is by nature a stubborn self-serving troublemaker.
That sin can be identified.
That only blameless blood sacrifice will make good out of that sin.
That Christianity is consistently a “beggar’s lot”.
That the analogy of flock and Good Shepherd is right on the mark.
That Something from without will essentially change your within, if requested.
That community in love is an essential laboratory from timeless Trinity to present day Church to the New Jerusalem.
That Heaven and Hell are God’s recompense for everything.
There is a fad going around that would blurt out “How dare you try to define what is essential or what is good or bad”. Just hold a sweet and harmless disposition at all times and God will do all of the work on others.
Tell that to the Jesus of Matthew 23 or the Paul of 2 Corinthians 6. There are however those provisos interjected by Peter…”with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).
