Hilary and I are in Quebec City after a 14 hour journey. Six days to treasure. Got lost once in the middle of Montreal Island after thinking that it would be impossible to miss Hwy 40 straightaway.
Night driving south of the River was very dark and full of signs about moose crossings. Then came Levis and the bridge and the old walled city. Canada’s beginning thanks to Jacques Cartier and Samuel de Champlain.
Couple of history buffs go wild at daybreak. Yawn. Will post some more pictures here as things progress.
And oh that French Onion Soup!
